Developing your English language skills for academic purposes (EAP1 and EAP2) is essential if you are planning to further your education or work in Australia or overseas. Our courses are designed to provide students with the necessary skills and confidence to enhance their proficiency in the four main communication skills in English: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Who Should Consider Taking These Courses?
Students who are interested in pursuing further study in higher education* will gain the advanced language proficiency skills and knowledge to be ready to participate in a range of academic activities, from robust discussions, to writing, reading, comprehension of complex texts, and expanding their vocabulary. These courses also improve students’ grammar, while introducing them to a range of study skills and independent learning techniques, to further help them adapt and succeed.

The courses will be a closed class for 12 weeks; however, students may commence in either Week 1 or Week 7.

EAP 1
The aim of this program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of teaching and study methods, as well as the necessary content required by Australian Vocational Colleges. Develop English language proficiency in all four macro skills: reading, speaking, listening and writing, using a range of study skills, in an Australian academic context.

EAP 2
The aim of this program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of teaching and study methods, as well as the necessary content required by Australian Universities. Develop English language proficiency in all four macro skills, reading, speaking, listening and writing, using a range of study skills, in an Australian academic context.

Entry Requirements:
EAP1 Course requirements: for students at Upper Intermediate level (Entry: IELTS 5.0 /B2) with an exit level approximate to IELTS 6.0/B2
EAP2 Course requirements: for students at Upper Intermediate to Advanced levels (Entry: IELTS 5.5 /B2) with an exit level ranging from IELTS 6.5/C1 to IELTS 7.0/C1
