What is Certificate IV in TESOL?
At IH Sydney, the Certificate IV in TESOL is primarily designed for non-native English speakers who want to enter the English-language teaching profession. Certificate IV in TESOL is often taken by international students of CEFR B2+ level.

When you graduate with CELTA, you will be close to also gaining the Certificate IV in TESOL at the same time.
All IH Sydney CELTA graduates can apply for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) towards the Certificate IV in TESOL. CELTA covers 6 out the 7 units of competency in Certificate IV in TESOL. When granted RPL, you can also be only one written assignment away from gaining the Certificate IV in TESOL as well. And you can do that written assignment in your own time.
